Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack — Core Platform Engineering (fully remote within the US).

You’ll be a technical anchor across the stack, leading end-to-end builds from prototypes to scalable production systems. The role emphasizes reliability, maintainability, and pragmatic scalability while collaborating with product and design to deliver both internal and customer-facing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end builds across the full development lifecycle (greenfield → scaling mature systems)
• Own projects by turning loosely defined problems into well-architected, production-ready solutions
• Design for clarity and change
  • Build modular, testable backend services and responsive UIs
  • Prefer simplicity and abstraction only where it improves maintainability
• Drive pragmatic scalability
  • Apply best practices for schema design, API modeling, and state management with clear tradeoffs
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and stakeholders to shape the right technical solutions
• Continuously level up through curiosity, humility, and shared learning

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Deep experience building complex, interactive UIs with React, Vue, or Angular
• Strong state management and reactive paradigm knowledge (e.g., refs/signals, RxJS, or similar)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with maintainable component architecture
• Familiarity with frontend performance profiling, accessibility, and design system integration
• Comfort translating wireframes/mockups into polished interfaces with designers/PMs
• Backend experience with Python and TypeScript, including modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Next.js, or Express
• API design experience: versioning, pagination, error modeling
• Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Database experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Schema design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure concepts including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments
• Ability to set up logging, monitoring, and alerting from day one
• Testability mindset: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
