Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Raise

Role Overview

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer building scalable, donor-facing experiences for mission-driven organizations. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product and Design, and help shape architecture, reliability, and future direction of a growing platform—using modern AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Own development and delivery of high-quality product features across frontend and backend systems
• Drive features end-to-end: discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
• Build and enhance full-stack applications (donor-facing interfaces, campaign experiences, analytics, personalization)
• Design and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend applications
• Create polished, intuitive UX while ensuring performance, functionality, and scalability
• Develop AI-powered product capabilities and use AI coding tools to improve engineering productivity
• Review AI-generated code with strong technical judgment (architecture, security, maintainability)
• Improve system reliability via monitoring, instrumentation, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate user needs into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions; contribute to engineering improvements
• Diagnose and fix production issues and bugs impacting product quality
• Support experimentation and continuous delivery

Requirements

• 6+ years building modern web applications and operating/scaling production systems
• Strong C# and API development experience (REST and/or GraphQL)
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue, React, or Svelte)
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals from substantial pre-AI experience
• Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably Azure
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (e.g., Terraform)
• Strong relational database knowledge (indexing, query optimization, scaling, performance tuning)
• Solid DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, application scaling)

Nice-to-Haves
