About the role

Role overview

Join Pano AI as a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack). You will own major projects that enable new end-to-end capabilities for users, working across the full stack to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead major projects from conceptualization to deployment.
Develop new features plus tools/frameworks/workflows to support evolving business requirements.
Ensure application performance, availability, and scalability.
Maintain high standards for code quality, maintainability, security, and application design.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex systems.

Requirements

5+ years hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
Strong full-stack product experience with solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and frontend/backend programming.
Frontend expertise: TypeScript/React; also JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and SPA frameworks.
Backend expertise: Java with modern frameworks such as Spring.
SQL proficiency and RDBMS experience (ideally PostgreSQL), including comfort with ORMs.
Ability to visualize and build proposed systems.
Communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Hands-on cloud experience with GCP and/or AWS.
DevOps familiarity including Git and CI/CD.
Experience with Linux, containerization, and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
Caching familiarity with Redis (and/or Valkey, Memcached).
Security framework familiarity: SOC2 / ISO 27001.

Nice to have

3+ years in a fast-paced SaaS (or similar) environment.
Basic design ability (UI/UX and prototyping).
Preference for candidates located in the Pacific / Mountain time zones.
