Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Role Overview

MetaRouter is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Product Engineer) to help build and maintain the MetaRouter Platform. You’ll partner with the Product team to design, plan, develop, deploy, and maintain application features end-to-end, from ambiguous scope to clear outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product to deliver product requirements using scalable, repeatable architecture standards
• Contribute to the application lifecycle: planning, design, shipping, and maintenance
• Review code with other engineers; build for present needs and future robustness
• Drive technical strategy to improve lifecycle sustainability and UX
• Lead with a test-driven mindset and use pipeline automation tooling for sustainable delivery
• Surface and prioritize technical debt
• Participate in Agile practices (e.g., sprint planning, requirements gathering, capacity planning)
• Architect and build new features across front-end and back-end using the core stack

Requirements

• 5+ years building and maintaining production-grade web applications (full-stack product UI focus)
• 3+ years with React and Node (or similar backend technology)
• 3+ years with GraphQL (or similar data-query language)
• 2+ years with SQL databases and data modeling
• Experience building/maintaining a MUI-based third-party component library
• Strong test-driven mentality and a creative, curious approach to challenging problems
• Ability to fail fast, learn quickly, and operate comfortably in ambiguity

Bonus

• Experience with Hasura Analytics, Tag Management, or similar client-side user-behavior tracking systems
• Docker/containerization
• AWS or GCP
• Kafka or other streaming message bus systems
• Building/maintaining large-scale ETL systems with open-source tooling

Employment Details

• Job type: Full-time
• Location: Fully Remote (US) or Denver, CO
• Compensation: $160k–$210k (salary range) + equity
