Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Engineer at Cyngn, building a cloud-based fleet management system for autonomous industrial vehicles. The role focuses on developing a scalable, high-performance SaaS platform that supports real-time control and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both backend and frontend components of the fleet management platform
• Collaborate with backend and frontend tech leads to ship and improve features
• Write clean, maintainable code for:
  • Backend (Python, Go, or Java)
  • Frontend (React, Redux, TypeScript)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and real-time data processing pipelines
• Help develop and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL and NoSQL
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces
• Contribute to advanced mapping features and geospatial data processing
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot production issues across the full stack
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Improve development processes and tooling; stay current with emerging full-stack best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development in full-stack roles
• Strong backend proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
• Strong frontend proficiency in React, Redux, and TypeScript
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and microservices architectures
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and management
• Knowledge of REST API design and implementation
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and message queuing
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving across the full stack
• Good grasp of design patterns and architectural principles
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
