Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Crexi. You will design, build, test, and ship end-to-end product features across the platform, owning work from UI through APIs and data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications using TypeScript
• Build customer-facing UI using modern web frameworks (Angular preferred)
• Translate designs into responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js/TypeScript, including:
  • Scalable API design (REST and/or GraphQL)
  • Authentication/authorization patterns
  • Data modeling and database schema design
  • Performance, reliability, and concurrency considerations
• Prototype, iterate, and ship features while preserving long-term architectural integrity
• Use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery, while reviewing outputs for correctness, security, and performance
• Participate in (and often lead) code reviews to raise quality, readability, and security
• Troubleshoot complex production issues with a focus on observability and performance tuning
• Improve developer/platform foundations (e.g., tooling, CI/CD, testing, architecture patterns)
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver measurable customer impact
• Mentor junior engineers via pairing, feedback, and technical guidance
• Author and maintain clear technical documentation (features, APIs, system behavior)

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years professional software development experience with meaningful ownership
• 2+ years hands-on TypeScript across front-end and back-end (deeper expertise preferred)
• Proven full-stack capability: shipped features end-to-end (UI → API → data) and can own production outcomes
• Strong experience building modern TypeScript web UIs (Angular preferred)
• Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, performance
• Experience with source control and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab)

• Deep TypeScript expertise across front-end and back-end contexts
