Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Role overview

SentiLink is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Full Stack) to develop and maintain its web application and fraud analysis platform. The role is primarily frontend-focused (about 60–70%), with additional collaboration across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, debug, document, and ship software while following established coding standards and methodologies
• Design and build APIs consumed by the UI to surface application data
• Partner with Product Management to drive Agile delivery of existing and new products
• Write unit and end-to-end automated tests to ensure quality
• Analyze usage and product metrics with product, data, and stakeholders to inform strategic decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production/product issues as they arise
• Work cross-functionally to resolve complex partner problems
• Ensure platform/service reliability by meeting SLA requirements, including on-call rotation for production issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products
• Experience building API-based products using Python, Go (Golang), or similar
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, especially React (Angular acceptable)
• Strong RDBMS experience (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ability to write efficient queries
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a Scrum/Agile development environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Familiarity with Financial Services

Compensation

• $180,000–$220,000 per year + equity + benefits

Work location

• Remote, US-based role (with optional/expected in-office time depending on proximity and team design)
