About the role

Role overview

Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Quick Service) on the Quick Service POS team at Owner.com. You will ship product end-to-end and raise the bar on a shared UI component library.

What you’ll do

Be a primary contributor to @owner/ui, Owner’s shared component library used across mobile, web, POS, guest app, and white-label apps.
Drive cross-platform UI strategy for Point of Sale (Quick Service) by building components once that work everywhere.
Collaborate cross-org to shape component patterns, design primitives, and UI standards in @owner/ui.
Lead the build-out of UI features and components for Quick Service POS during a high-execution product phase.
Reduce UX drift and maintenance overhead by establishing shared patterns that improve onboarding and consistency across feature development.

Requirements

Deep experience building and maintaining UI systems/design systems and shared component libraries at scale.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
Full-stack engineering ability—comfortable shipping features across frontend and backend.
Experience with React Native and/or React Native Web.
Background in frontend modernization, web platform, or UX/UI engineering.

Nice to haves

Experience applying design systems principles to POS and cross-platform product surfaces.
