Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Platform

Role overview

Senior Software Engineer for Hudl’s Front-End Platform team. You will expand and standardize Hudl’s front-end platform used by internal product teams, improving the web experience for a large global audience.

Responsibilities

• Expand the front-end platform and make it the standard across Hudl
• Ensure the platform is robust, performant, maintainable, scalable, accessible, and secure
• Support work across teams through discovery, documentation, design reviews, and implementation
• Maintain and improve developer tooling, keeping it up to date for smooth front-end development
• Serve as a consultant: answer questions, review pull requests, participate in design reviews, and provide feedback on project plans

Requirements (Must-haves)

• Extensive front-end experience building with TypeScript and React
• Experience leading or playing a key role in large-scale web application development
• Familiarity with design systems and how they support consistency, intuitiveness, and accessibility
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including presenting and explaining technical designs
• Deep understanding of front-end tooling, including modern tool adoption

Nice-to-haves

• Passion for the front-end ecosystem and staying current with evolving approaches
• Experience with Jamstack, component-driven development, micro-frontends, and monorepos
• Interest in AI’s role in accelerating platform vision
