Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform)

Role Overview

Join Cresta as a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform). The Platform Frontend team builds and maintains the shared platform that supports all frontend development—covering architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
• Work with product and engineering teams to build and continuously improve Cresta platform and new product requirements.
• Stay close to customers, analyze technical tradeoffs, and own customer-facing deliverables.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, well-designed, and well-tested system components; contribute to overall system designs.
• Identify product improvement opportunities and generate product improvement ideas.
• Demonstrate and uphold engineering best practices in daily work and deliverables.
• Provide technical ownership across a significant portion of Cresta’s product and platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in relevant domains.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals and very solid coding skills.
• Familiar with React or Angular, used in at least one large-scale, consumer-facing product.
• Proficient in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
• Experience acting as a technical lead for a frontend stack supporting multiple product features.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Customer-facing product ownership mindset and strong ability to translate requirements into technical deliverables.

Location & Benefits

• Location: Canada (position also hiring in the US and Canada).
