About the role

Role Overview

Join Afresh as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend, Ordering). You will own the frontend architecture of the company’s flagship AI ordering product, define the technical roadmap for next-generation web systems, and build highly performant user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own frontend architecture for a high-revenue AI ordering product, including defining the technical roadmap and driving key engineering challenges.
Lead cross-team collaboration to establish practices for secure and reliable systems and higher code quality.
Mentor junior/mid-level engineers, guide technical growth, and perform thoughtful code reviews.
Contribute to the vision of the next-generation Ordering product.

Requirements

6+ years software development experience, including 4+ years building complex, scalable frontends.
Strong mastery of the React ecosystem, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
Experience using or building reusable UI component libraries and design systems.
Ability to lead complex technical initiatives through the full lifecycle (from conception to launch) with high autonomy.
Agile/Scrum experience and active participation in agile ceremonies.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong desire to learn and master new technologies.
Experience/understanding of backend systems and API design.
