Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to design and build high-quality frontend experiences for a cloud governance platform. You’ll work closely with product and design teams to turn complex cloud compliance, governance, and optimization concepts into intuitive, scalable, and reliable user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performant, scalable, user-friendly frontend applications
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Build responsive UI experiences that work across devices and browsers
• Lead frontend initiatives, define best practices, and mentor other engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using modern frontend technologies
• Implement and improve frontend testing strategies (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest)
• Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, frontend patterns, and development workflows
• Participate in Agile and DevOps processes (planning, reviews, continuous delivery)
• Continuously improve product quality, usability, and engineering processes
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and propose improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably React)
• 3+ years of experience leading frontend initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern browser APIs
• Experience building responsive UIs optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Jest)
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and DevOps environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage priorities and deliver commitments

Nice to Haves

• TypeScript, Relay, and/or GraphQL experience
• Familiarity with design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision, Lucidchart)
• Open-source contributions or startup experience
• Full-stack development experience
