Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Engineering (Remote)

You’ll lead frontend technical work to build secure, reliable, and high-quality web systems for a healthcare environment, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Use Node.js for frontend architecture and server-side rendering
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs
Translate user needs into technical specifications with product managers and designers
Ensure security, scalability, and performance of frontend applications
Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain code quality
Maintain code documentation and the company knowledge base

Requirements

5+ years of professional frontend web development experience
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js)
Experience with responsive, mobile-first development
Knowledge of web performance optimization and web accessibility
Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Selenium)
Proficient with Git
Experience working in Agile environments

Location / Compensation

Remote (US-based candidates only); no visa sponsorship
Compensation: $195,000 – $250,000 annually
