Senior Software Engineer - Front End

Role Overview

Veeva is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Front End to build and maintain the UI for Veeva’s cloud-based applications. You’ll work in fast-paced sprints, collaborate closely with back-end and design teams, and help solve real customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the front-end UI for cloud-based applications
• Collaborate with back-end and design teams
• Solve customer problems and experiment with new ideas
• Decompose and improve existing systems to enhance overall architecture
• Partner with QA engineers to ensure strong testing coverage
• Contribute to troubleshooting and technical support
• Participate across the full software development life cycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of UI development experience
• Proficiency with React and JavaScript (ES6)
• Familiarity with open-source Java stack tooling (e.g., Java, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, JUnit, Tomcat)
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue)
• Knowledge of unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library
• Proficiency with CSS abstraction layers (e.g., SASS or JSS)
• Must live in PST or MST
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• Proven record of mentoring and improving the team

Compensation

• $110,000 – $270,000 base pay (annual) with potential additional variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
