Role: Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain product features and enhancements
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features
Review and collaborate on other developers’ work
Implement RESTful API endpoints and build functionality in the Express/Node.js backend
Extend and evolve the MongoDB data model
Ensure quality, reliability, operations, and security across products
Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize for speed, scalability, and usability
Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve user experience

Requirements

5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
Proven product-oriented software development background
Must have proficiency with:
- React
- TypeScript
- MongoDB
- Express (must have)
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking about user interactions and system architecture
Ability to work independently in dynamic situations with limited information
Excellent written and verbal English communication

Nice to have

Experience in B2B SaaS and/or remote international settings
Familiarity with event-driven, serverless, high-volume architectures, API strategies, micro-services, and web security
AWS experience
Agile methods and experience working in Agile environments
Testing/tools experience with Vitest/Jest and Playwright (mentioned under tools/requirements)
