About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with product managers, designers, QA, and fellow developers to deliver mobile projects end-to-end. You’ll architect code for flexibility and reusability, contribute to technical decisions, and help maintain app robustness through testing and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mobile projects from A to Z.
Participate in engineering decisions considering scope, complexity, and timing.
Architect for maintainability, flexibility, and reuse.
Support team growth through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and thorough code reviews.
Improve app reliability through testing and debugging/troubleshooting.

Requirements

7+ years of professional Android development using the Android SDK.
Advanced Kotlin knowledge.
Experience with the full app development lifecycle, including shipping on Google Play.
Strong understanding of design patterns and when to apply them.
Experience with async patterns and network communication.
Experience with JUnit and instrumentation testing on Android.
Ability to self-manage with strong follow-through.
Clear communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Clean Architecture.
Staying current with the latest Android community patterns and libraries.
Interest/experience with mentorship and teaching.
Some experience with AI agentic development.
