Senior Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (US)

As a key member of Dabble’s Technology team, you’ll take a hands-on role in planning, developing, and delivering complex projects across sport wagering and social media experiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end codebases using TypeScript and Node.js, including React Native.
• Design and deliver maintainable, high-performance software that scales with growth.
• Build and evolve systems using event-driven architecture with Kafka, including microservices and distributed systems.
• Lead and contribute to technical discussions around software development processes, Agile practices (e.g., stand-ups, retros), and platform architecture.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are addressed: security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging approaches and vendor solutions; share learnings with the wider team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work evening hours to collaborate with an Australia-based development team.
• Demonstrated ability leading teams and/or mentoring other developers.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment.

• Prioritizing candidates based in Colorado or Austin (Texas).
