Senior Software Engineer - Customer & Applications

Role Overview

Wizard AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Customer & Applications) for its Customer & Applications pod. You will build user-facing products that power an agentic commerce experience, working end-to-end across the stack for both merchants and end users.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship user-facing features and applications that drive core product experiences
• Own features end-to-end across frontend (React) and backend (Node.js / TypeScript)
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams to turn ambiguous ideas into high-quality UX
• Design and implement scalable APIs and services supporting product functionality
• Contribute to frontend architecture and component systems for fast, consistent development
• Drive experimentation and iteration, including A/B testing and rapid prototyping
• Participate in technical design discussions, balancing speed, quality, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; improve performance, usability, reliability
• Contribute to team practices via code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack experience with Node.js / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Experience building user-facing products with a focus on performance and usability
• Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and system design
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product and design in fast-paced environments

• Experience integrating third-party APIs
• Ecommerce/marketplace experience (e.g., Shopify)
