Role overview
Join Wizard as a Senior Software Engineer (Customer & Applications). You will design and deliver user-facing products that improve the company’s agentic commerce experience, working across the stack from backend services to polished frontend interfaces.
Key missions
- Create and deliver high-impact, intuitive product experiences for merchants and end users.
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI/ML teams to turn ambiguous ideas into quality user experiences.
- Own end-to-end features, from backend architecture through frontend UI.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications with a focus on performance and usability.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services where needed.
- Apply strong web application architecture and system design principles.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of web application architecture and system design.
- Experience building full-stack applications using Node.js / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
- Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams.
- Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
- Exposure to ecommerce/marketplace products (e.g., Shopify).
