Role Overview
Senior Software Engineer focused on front-end / full-stack client experience, building customer-facing web experiences for a global private market platform.
Responsibilities
- Partner iteratively with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver highly functional software.
- Build and enhance web applications with React, delivering responsive, accessible, performant, and delightful customer experiences.
- Promote reusable local components using Tailwind design tokens to improve reuse and consistency.
- Gather requirements with cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into scalable, robust solutions.
- Integrate with domain and data providers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Use headless CMS and low-code tooling when appropriate.
- Ensure code quality via code reviews and mentorship.
- Advocate for customers using experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous feedback.
- Stay current with emerging front-end trends and practices.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Proven expertise building externally facing, highly available UI experiences with React (or similar frameworks such as Next.js / Angular).
- Strong experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and using design systems, component libraries, charting libraries, and data grids/tables.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to support teammates through technical challenges.
- Deep experience with build optimization and bundling.
- Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and web communication such as REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Solid command of front-end architecture patterns and best practices for large-scale, customer-facing applications.
