About the role

Role overview

Senior Software Engineer working at the intersection of the Basis Platform application and the Demand-Side Platform (DSP). You will build and extend workflows that enhance DSP capabilities for both novice and power users, with high visibility and revenue impact.

Responsibilities

Lead projects end-to-end across the full tech stack, ensuring high quality and setting engineering standards.
Design, build, and scale production-grade front-end experiences using React.
Perform supporting back-end work using Ruby on Rails.
Build integrations between the Basis Platform and the DSP.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement DSP-enhancing features and workflows.
Own what you ship: quality, reliability, and post-production outcomes.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven experience building and scaling modern production front-end with React (with Ruby on Rails as supporting back-end).
Strong data modeling and system design skills.
Current with modern development practices, including AI-assisted/agentic workflows for coding, debugging, exploration, and documentation.
Leadership mindset: run with autonomy, close knowledge gaps, and manage risks from sketch to launch.
Strong collaboration skills (pull requests, demos, communication).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Spring Boot and/or Quarkus.
Experience or strong interest in Ad-Tech.
Comfort working in a fast-paced product development environment.
