Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Role overview

Senior Backend Software Engineer (Backend) responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend services and APIs for high-performance applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, UI/UX, engineering) and help define engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Develop database solutions with a focus on data integrity and performance
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following established standards
• Debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in architectural discussions for scalable, robust backend systems
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices
• (Emphasis) Integrate AI/LLM frameworks into backend solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development focused on backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with data modeling and databases, including PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with modern practices such as Agile and Kanban
• Interest in AI and large language models (LLMs) integration
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
