About the role

Role Overview

ATPCO is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build innovative applications and cloud-based solutions for the airline industry. The role emphasizes technical leadership, designing resilient systems, and collaborating closely with product teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to technical requirements and design artifacts
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture strategies and standards
Drive successful delivery of customer value through efficient designs and programming practices
Adhere to ATPCO development standards and spearhead improvements to quality and productivity
Develop and maintain software that works extensively with multiple data stores
Lead technical areas by anticipating and resolving issues to meet commitments
Act as a technical resource/lead for other developers
Collaborate with Product Managers to deliver resilient cloud solutions
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Share knowledge via presentations/public forums and mentor/train team members
Promote a DevOps mindset and DevOps practices supporting integration and automation

Required / Core Skills

Programming in one or more of: Java, Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript
Experience with open-source relational and NoSQL databases
Container and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud services using AWS
Building data-intensive software components for efficient data flow and storage

Nice-to-Haves (implied)

Active experimentation with modern technologies and keeping up with tech trends
Experience communicating technical details to diverse internal/external stakeholders
