Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join AtoB as a Senior Software Engineer to help reconcile transactions across multiple financial providers, align internal records with customer-facing balances, and advance the company’s general ledger infrastructure. You’ll design and build new money movement flows and own critical backend/platform initiatives while partnering closely with product and GTM leads.

Key Missions

• Reconciliation & Data Accuracy: Lead efforts to reconcile transactions across financial providers and ensure consistency between internal systems and customer balances.
• General Ledger Infrastructure: Contribute to the development and scalability of the general ledger platform, improving accuracy, resilience, and growth.
• Money Movement Flows: Design and implement money movement across multiple payment rails, optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver backend and platform projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and GTM teams.
• Write maintainable code with automated tests, clean abstractions, and clear documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years building B2B or B2C SaaS products.
• Ability to dive deep into code and operate effectively in a codebase that includes React, Ruby, and Postgres (with willingness to ramp quickly).
• Clear communication across time zones.
• Strong balance of speed and rigor (testing, abstractions, documentation).

Nice to Have

• Prior payments or back-office fintech experience.
• Experience in FinTech, payments, or marketplaces.
