About the role
Role Overview
Join AdQuick as a Senior Software Engineer to help shape and deliver projects end-to-end. You’ll work on automation for out-of-home advertising campaign planning and execution, including integrations with industry partners and complex map visualizations.
Key Missions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define projects and break them down into complete deliverables.
- Implement full-stack deliverables and continuously refine the tech stack and developer tools.
- Manage and resolve support tickets quickly while improving reliability and engineering practices.
- Automate campaign planning/execution workflows.
- Integrate with industry partners and support sophisticated map visualization needs.
- Leverage data science and AI to enhance tooling and outcomes.
Required Profile
- 5+ years of production engineering experience building and scaling systems.
- Pragmatic shipping mindset: know when to move fast vs. invest in long-term scalability.
- Startup-minded: comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving projects from concept to completion.
- Technically versatile across the stack (or similar modern technologies).
- Full-stack expertise spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- AI-fluent: use AI coding tools to increase productivity while maintaining code quality and ownership.
- Product-oriented: consider user needs and business impact beyond just code.
Tech Stack (Provided)
Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Kotlin, Kafka, Stimulus JS/Hotwire.
