Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using Svelte/SvelteKit (while supporting existing React and AngularJS systems).
  • Build reusable UI components with a focus on performance, accessibility (WCAG), and maintainability.
  • Translate product requirements and UX designs into responsive, production-ready interfaces.
  • Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling async data, error states, and edge cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and Backend Engineers to ship well-tested features and smooth release cycles.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture decisions (state management patterns, component structure, and design system evolution).
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and Agile/Kanban delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve usability and overall user experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience building production-grade web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Svelte or SvelteKit, including component development and state management.
  • Working knowledge of React and AngularJS to maintain/extend existing codebases.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES2020+); TypeScript experience (or ability to ramp quickly).
  • Strong HTML/CSS, responsive design, and layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid).
  • Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including async workflow and error handling.
  • Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks: Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Vitest.
  • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Kanban.
  • Demonstrated focus on accessibility, performance, and UI/UX quality.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS (or related) or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with .NET/C#, backend development, and/or design systems.
  • AWS/cloud tooling.
  • LLM-powered UI features.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $160,000–$205,000 USD (based on experience/location) plus equity (stock options).
  • Medical, dental, vision insurance; paid time off and company holidays.
  • Parental leave and short/long-term disability coverage.
  • Fully remote within the United States.
