Role Overview

Join Clover Health as a Senior Software Developer to deliver impactful healthcare technology. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, understand the business context, and take ownership of projects from problem understanding through delivery and measurement.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand healthcare business problems and shape solutions.
• Own work end-to-end, from problem understanding to delivery and measurement.
• Make informed technical and product decisions grounded in business and user impact.
• Define and maintain development practices that enable fast iteration while ensuring quality (e.g., writing tests, documenting key implementations).
• Engage with users and stakeholders to understand needs and drive improvements.
• Stay current with tools and technologies and contribute to development standards.

Requirements

• Experience building and refactoring complex systems, often distributed.
• Ability to work across multiple technical systems and concerns.
• Strong outcome orientation—focus on why and how work connects to business/user impact.
• 5+ years of software experience.
• Proficiency in one or more common programming languages plus familiarity with databases and web frontend technology.
• Mature, rigorous approach with emphasis on scalability.
