Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote EST

Role overview

Join HiBob as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in a fully remote position. You’ll help ensure production stability for HiBob’s AWS/Kubernetes environment while working closely with global DevOps teams, with an emphasis on reliability in an AI/LLM context.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global DevOps teams to automate ~70% of workload.
• Own reliability for the company’s AWS + Kubernetes production environment.
• Manage and support live, high-traffic SaaS systems to maintain production stability.
• Use Python or Go to build automation and improve operational workflows.
• Support incident response and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer (hard requirement).
• Deep production expertise managing live, high-traffic SaaS environments.
• Proven production mastery of Kubernetes and AWS.
• Advanced Python proficiency (preferred) or advanced Go proficiency for automation.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM technologies.
• Hands-on observability experience with Datadog.
• Ability to work independently and manage production incidents.
• Must be in the East Coast time zone for coverage overlap.

Nice to have

• Direct hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies (beyond just general understanding).
