Responsibilities

  • Work closely with software engineers and platform stakeholders to improve reliability and operational efficiency.

  • Experience/knowledge related to email protocols and/or email infrastructure (e.g., SMTP, IMAP).
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset, proactive issue identification, and early risk communication.
  • Strong async written communication skills for a geographically distributed team.
  • Security awareness (identity, least privilege, secrets hygiene, network controls).
  • Prior work in or alongside an open-source community.
  • Language proficiency: French, German, Japanese, or other in addition to English.

Nice-to-Have / Additional Focus

  • Ability to learn and responsibly adopt emerging technologies (including AI-enabled tools) to improve processes.
  • Strong collaboration across both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
