About the role

Role Overview

Join SentinelOne as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Government) responsible for the reliability of government environments. You will coordinate compliant, efficient deployments, improve observability, and build operational tooling to handle reliability, compliance, and delivery pipeline challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure technical reliability of government environments and coordinate compliant, efficient deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices across:
- Cloud infrastructure
- Continuous delivery
- Government release/publication processes
Lead incident management for production issues:
- drive fast recovery
- perform root cause analysis
- implement preventative actions
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for operational, compliance, and pipeline challenges.

Requirements

5+ years experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering for SaaS products; 4+ years running operations at large scale.
Multi-cloud experience with AWS and GCP (AWS preferred).
Experience with at least one main programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby, plus bash scripting to improve operational workflows.
Testing strategies and automation experience in large-scale environments.
Experience with industry observability and incident management, including tools such as:
- Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry
Strong understanding of government/compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-137).
Familiarity with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform or Pulumi), and deployment strategies (blue/green, rolling, canary).
Experience working with government agencies or in highly regulated industries.
Production experience with containers (at least 2+ years); Kubernetes preferred and experience with Continuous Delivery.
Proven background implementing/supporting FedRAMP security, risk management, and compliance processes for software releases.

Nice to Have

Strong depth in AWS and Kubernetes-based operational practices.

Full remote, with a New York (US) location indicated.
