About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at ClickHouse, you will help ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of the company’s cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate across teams to improve incident management, set service levels, and continuously enhance Cloud services.

Key Missions

Build and lead reliability processes to ensure cloud availability, scalability, and performance.
Partner with multiple teams to design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Own incident management and response, including post-mortems and continuous improvement of Cloud services.

Requirements

Strong passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
Demonstrated ownership and accountability.
Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills.
Solid understanding of distributed databases and SQL (experience with ClickHouse is a major plus).

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
