About the role

Role: Senior SDET

You will act as the quality owner for testing across a microservice ecosystem—designing strategy, building automation frameworks, and partnering with developers to raise overall quality.

Responsibilities

Own the testing strategy for the entire microservice ecosystem.
Design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch.
Build and maintain robust automation for:
- Microservices, APIs, gateways
- UI testing and API testing
- Asynchronous systems
Ensure AI-generated code quality by adding test coverage that validates functionality and stability produced by AI agents.
Drive quality culture and standards by challenging developers and improving team testing practices.
Support CI/CD pipeline automation, collaborating with developers using GitHub Actions.
Validate cloud deployments using AWS knowledge (Fargate, EKS).
Handle ambiguity by translating minimal requirements into effective test plans and automation.
Performance and advanced testing (performance testing experience is a plus).

Requirements

Strong experience with Playwright
Automated API and UI testing
Java or TypeScript test automation background
Experience testing microservices, APIs, gateways, and asynchronous systems
CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions
AWS environment knowledge: Fargate and EKS
