About the role
Role Overview
Senior Scrum Master responsible for coordinating multiple cross-functional Agile development teams and providing servant leadership in a Scrum @ Scale environment. You will facilitate key Scrum events, remove impediments, and coach teams and leaders to deliver business value.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor multiple teams on Lean, Agile, Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; ensure event outcomes are achieved
- Work with teams to implement new practices that improve delivery outcomes
- Foster a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team
- Help teams remove barriers using Scrum of Scrums and address organizational impediments
- Partner with the Product Owner to align on product vision, goals, customer-centric delivery, and a healthy backlog
- Co-create and refine working agreements, including definition of ready and definition of done
- Maintain a coaching backlog and coach teams/leaders to solve their own problems
- Act as a change agent; leverage ADKAR and other change management methodologies during organizational change
- Support scaled adoption (cross-team planning, delivery synchronization, dependencies, systems-level inspect & adapt)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agile, Project Management, or related discipline
- 5+ years experience on a Scrum team
- 5+ years experience with Lean and implementing a Kaizen mindset
- 1+ years experience in a scaled environment (preferably Scrum @ Scale or SAFe)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching, and mentoring skills
- Embody Scrum values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment, Focus
- Bias for action; comfortable in changing/ambiguous environments
Preferred / Nice-to-Haves
- Advanced credential from Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile
- Tech savvy; experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Office 365
- Experimental / fail-fast and learning mindset
- Experience applying DevSecOps capabilities for delivery speed and operational stability
- Experience with scaled frameworks (especially Scrum @ Scale)
- Experience with teams across technical domains (e.g., warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems, data warehouses)
Location & Travel
- Remote work with ability to travel to office locations as needed
Compensation
- $93,937 - $159,693 annually (benefits included for eligible employees)
