About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will coach software development teams on Scrum and broader Agile principles, helping them improve delivery outcomes and backlog health.

Responsibilities

Coach teams on applying Agile principles to real delivery challenges beyond basic Scrum mechanics
Facilitate Scrum events with intentional design to drive meaningful outcomes
Partner with Product Owners and Software Engineering Managers to improve backlog health and delivery predictability
Resolve complex impediments independently and coordinate with stakeholders when needed
Analyze team metrics to guide improvement discussions
Support the Product Owner in connecting delivery work to business value
Mentor and influence Agile practices across multiple teams

Requirements

4+ years of Scrum Master experience in a software development environment
Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, coaching, and stakeholder communication
Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
Experience mentoring Scrum Masters or facilitating cross-team Agile initiatives
High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM I
Advanced Agile certification such as PSM II, ICP-ACC, or equivalent

Compensation & Work Setup

Salary up to $85,000/year plus a monthly bonus tied to company revenue results
Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and 401(k) with employer match (starting day one)
Remote within the United States, with mandatory in-person training during the first week and one week annually
