Senior Scrum Master - Fully Remote

Role Overview

Senior Scrum Master (Fully Remote) responsible for coaching and facilitating one-to-many IT teams delivering medium-complexity products in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and facilitate Agile/Scrum teams to achieve sprint goals and continuously improve team processes
• Support Product Managers/Owners and peer Scrum Masters to foster self-aware, cross-trained, continuously improving teams
• Lead and facilitate key ceremonies:
  • Daily scrums
  • Sprint planning
  • Sprint reviews
  • Agile Release Train (ART) sync meetings
• Eliminate impediments/barriers and protect teams from outside interference during sprints
• Drive transparency, inspection, and adaptation
• Manage team delivery on sprint outcomes; ensure backlog health and readiness for execution
• Partner on short- and long-term release planning and help maintain an IT forecasting/roadmap
• Conduct demand and capacity planning models
• Track deliverables and report progress each sprint using defined metrics
• Oversee and support execution across scope, budget, timeline, quality, and deliverables aligned to business goals
• Influence stakeholders and act as a liaison between clients and delivery teams
• Participate in project estimation sessions with technical and business stakeholders

Requirements

• 4+ years related IT engineering experience
• 2+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile software development delivering medium complexity products
• Servant leadership mindset
• Experience executing Scrum in a quickly changing environment; flexible and adaptable
• Strong Scrum methodology expertise aligned to the 2020 Scrum Guide
• Must be motivated to drive change
• Advanced Jira knowledge (preferred)
