About the role

Role Overview

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Scrum Master (Contract | Remote) to lead Agile delivery across multiple complex software development initiatives. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, use Agile metrics to improve predictability, and drive continuous improvement in delivery flow.

Responsibilities

Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
Drive delivery execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
Use data-driven Agile metrics to improve forecasting and team performance:
- Velocity, throughput, cycle time, WIP, cumulative flow
Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies; ensure alignment with business goals
Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile practices
Promote flow efficiency and continuous delivery improvements
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and leadership stakeholders
Facilitate backlog management and release planning
Identify and remove blockers to keep teams progressing
Conduct root cause analysis and apply findings to improve delivery outcomes
Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

8+ years of Scrum Master and/or Project Management experience
5+ years supporting Agile software development teams
Strong experience with Agile metrics and reporting (to guide planning and forecasting)
Deep knowledge of SDLC and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
Active Scrum Master certification

Preferred Qualifications

PMI certification
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
