About the role

Role Overview

Join Docker as a Senior Sales Engineer to support Docker’s most strategic enterprise accounts. You will own the pre-sales technical strategy, guide technical discovery, and help shape requirements to drive measurable business and technical outcomes in complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical advisor and partner with Account Executives, Post Sales, and Product teams to deliver value.
Lead deep technical discovery with customer teams across Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI/ML to understand needs and define requirements early.
Design, position, and execute structured PoCs/PoVs focused on:
- Policy enforcement
- Image and artifact integrity
- SBOM visibility
- AI workload governance controls
- Secure build pipelines

Requirements

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
Ability to engage credibly with senior technical and business stakeholders.
Full professional fluency in French and English (mandatory).
Experience running competitive PoCs/PoVs with clear success and exit criteria.
Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise sales.

Nice to Have

Experience with Docker or container ecosystems (or adjacent technologies).
Experience in Development, Agentic AI development, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Software Supply Chain.
