Senior Sales Engineer - Delphix

Role overview

Senior Sales Engineer for the Delphix team at Perforce, supporting customers and partners in Argentina/Chile. The role drives technical sales efforts, ensuring customer satisfaction while helping build a long-term subscription licensing business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technical sales for key accounts.
• Perform deep discovery of customer business objectives, challenges, use cases, and technical architecture/topology.
• Position Delphix within customers’ digital transformation journey (data discovery of sensitive data, automated data compliance, faster software delivery, cloud acceleration, and AI enablement).
• Create and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and POCs that map Delphix capabilities to business value and ROI while blocking competitors.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support).
• Educate customers on Delphix’s value proposition and help quantify impact at technical, project, and LOB levels.
• Collaborate with customers to adopt/improve deployment pipelines, continuous learning practices, automated testing, automated release management, and CI/CD.
• Partner with Sales/Field Services to build a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives and grow customer adoption.
• Develop and enhance reusable technical presales assets to scale.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal & written).
• 30% travel (primarily regional).
• Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization.
• Entrepreneurial drive, pragmatism, and strong customer focus.
• Experience designing and delivering technology solutions (cloud solutions a plus).
• 7+ years in one of: DevOps/CI/CD/TDM, Cloud, Data Masking & Governance, Data Management, or Database Technologies (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, change data capture).
• 5+ (years requirement appears truncated in the posting; minimum is implied but not fully shown).
