Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Role Overview

Proxify AB is looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer for one of its clients. The role is focused on building and improving high-quality web applications and growth features, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following best practices and coding standards
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to keep applications fast and reliable
• Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, code, and system configurations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, plus HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Testing framework proficiency: RSpec and Capybara
• Strong version control knowledge, especially Git
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Must be located in CET timezone (± 3 hours)
