About the role

Role overview

Join Grafana Labs as a Senior Risk Management Engineer to help mature the company’s risk management program. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks while partnering across Security, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Audit to support regulatory compliance and better decision-making.

Key missions

Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
Participate in risk identification processes; evaluate incident response history and controls documentation.
Own the enterprise risk framework, coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Audit.
Build and maintain board-level reporting structures.

Profile / requirements

Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or analytical roles.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

A professional certification such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP).
Knowledge of software development concepts (not an engineering role, but helpful).
