Senior Risk Management Engineer

Role Overview

Join Grafana Labs as a Senior Risk Management Engineer. You will identify, analyze, and mitigate risks that could threaten the company, partnering across Security, Platform Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Audit to support regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.

Key Missions

• Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
• Document and manage risks to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare risk reports to support decision-making.
• Participate in risk identification processes, review incident response history, and drive operational risk quantification.

Requirements

• Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or related analytical roles.
• Knowledge of software development concepts (even though the role is not purely engineering).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Relevant professional certification, such as CRMP (Certified Risk Management Professional).
