Senior Regulatory Operations Manager, Cities

Role Overview

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Regulatory Operations Manager (Cities) to scale regulatory compliance strategies and programs across jurisdictions. You will be the accountable owner for compliance program strategy and execution, aligning disparate stakeholders while supporting Airbnb’s growth in the Stays business.

Responsibilities (A Typical Day)

• Develop and drive regulatory initiatives that unlock supply growth and proactively address compliance risks
• Lead the development and execution of scaled programs across multiple compliance verticals
• Create an operational rhythm and manage cross-functional stakeholders to keep initiatives on track (with strong project documentation)
• Identify strategic opportunities for risk reduction across jurisdictions
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Policy, and Legal to align roadmaps and execute with measurable impact
• Support strategic projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the Operations team

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in regulatory operations, legal/policy compliance, consulting, project management, or related fields
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization and build cross-functional relationships
• Strong analytical skills, including using data to understand problems and make informed decisions (SQL is a plus)
• Ability to balance short-term outcomes with long-term strategy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail/quality
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Scrappy, collaborative operator comfortable with ambiguity and risk

Remote / Location

• US - Remote Eligible (may require occasional office work or offsites, as agreed with your manager)
• Must live in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity (excluded states apply)
