Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Campinas)

You will help make quality proactive as LawnStarter scales into new service verticals and advances features like dynamic pricing and AI-powered capabilities. This is a hands-on, strategic role embedded with engineering teams, focused on improving automation coverage, shaping the bug process, and partnering with Product, Design, and Data to prevent customer-impacting issues.

Responsibilities

• Own automation strategy and coverage: Design and expand the E2E and integration test suite using Cypress, prioritizing coverage gaps and raising the quality floor.
• Shape and run the bug process: Own the full lifecycle from triage to production fix, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure issues do not fall through the cracks.
• Cross-functional quality partnership: Work with PMs, Designers, and the Data team to review requirements, surface risks early, and define what “done” means.
• Process improvement: Identify weaknesses in delivery and quality processes and implement improvements (not just document them).
• Exploratory testing across web and mobile: Test new features and existing flows on relevant devices to catch issues automation may miss.

• Automation coverage remains strong as the product evolves.
• Bug triage-to-fix cycles are predictable with clear stakeholder visibility.
• You develop deep marketplace/domain understanding to anticipate edge cases.
• You ship at least one meaningful quality process improvement.

Tech / Engineering Context

• Platform stack includes PHP (Laravel) and React / React Native.
• Cypress is the primary test framework.
• Claude Code is used as part of the core engineering workflow.
