Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

EatClub is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to embed quality into product delivery from the start. You’ll partner with product and engineering to define what “done” means, design test coverage early, and ensure releases are fast and safe.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans across iOS, Android, web, and GraphQL/REST APIs, including:
  • exploratory, regression, and edge-case coverage
• Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Triage production issues by reproducing bugs reliably, documenting them clearly, and working with engineers to resolve quickly
• Partner early in the delivery cycle with product managers, engineers, and designers to:
  • define acceptance criteria
  • flag testability concerns before they become problems
• Make judgment calls on test strategy (what to automate vs. what to test manually, acceptable risk)
• Validate complex scenarios such as:
  • payment flows (regions/devices)
  • API contract integrity and data integrity
  • offline behavior
  • deep links, push notifications, and third-party integrations

• Automation uplift: improving regression coverage and building sustainable automation for real release confidence
• API quality for GraphQL and REST (happy paths, errors, data integrity, third-party behavior)
• Release quality framework: contributing to the team’s definition of done and risk visibility
