Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at EatClub, you’ll embed quality into product delivery from the start. You’ll help shape requirements, design test strategy, build automated coverage, and rapidly unblock production issues—across mobile, web, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Work with product and engineering early to scope features, surface edge cases, and define acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute test plans across iOS, Android, web, and GraphQL/REST APIs (exploratory, regression, and edge-case coverage).
• Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD for fast, safe releases.
• Handle production incidents by reproducing bugs, documenting clearly, and partnering with engineers to resolve quickly.
• Make informed test strategy decisions (what to automate, what to test manually, what risk is acceptable).
• Validate complex scenarios including payments across regions/devices, API contract integrity, offline behavior, deep links, push notifications, and third-party integrations.

Projects You’ll Work On

• Payment & transaction testing across iOS/Android with regional variations and failure modes.
• Automation uplift: assess current regression coverage and build a sustainable automation strategy.
• API quality: automated suites for GraphQL and REST, including data integrity and third-party behaviors.
• Release quality framework: contribute to what “done” means via acceptance criteria and risk visibility.

Requirements

• Strong QA judgment with the ability to balance automation vs. exploratory/manual testing.
• Experience designing test coverage and owning quality outcomes across multiple platforms.
• Ability to reproduce and triage production issues and collaborate closely with engineers.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with payment systems, regional variation testing, and reliability-focused release practices.
