About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at EatClub, you embed quality into the product lifecycle from the start—helping scope features, defining what “done” really means, and ensuring releases hold up under real-world pressure.

What You’ll Do

Design and execute test plans across iOS, Android, web, and GraphQL/REST APIs with exploratory, regression, and edge-case coverage
Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD for fast, safe releases
Triage production issues: reproduce reliably, document clearly, and partner with engineering to unblock resolution
Collaborate early with Product, Engineering, and Design to define acceptance criteria and flag testability concerns
Make test strategy judgment calls: what to automate vs. test manually and what risk is acceptable ahead of release
Validate complex scenarios including payment flows (regional/device variation), API contract integrity, offline behavior, deep links, push notifications, and third-party integrations

Examples of Projects

Payment & transaction testing across iOS/Android, including failure modes and high-impact edge cases
Automation uplift: assess current regression coverage and build a sustainable automation strategy
API quality: GraphQL/REST automated suites covering happy paths, error handling, data integrity, and third-party behavior
Release quality framework: help define acceptance criteria, risk visibility, and the team’s definition of done

Requirements / Experience

Strong QA judgment and experience owning quality as a product discipline (not just test execution)
Experience designing test coverage across mobile, web, and APIs
Ability to reproduce, document, and partner to resolve production bugs quickly

Nice-to-Haves (Implied by Responsibilities)

Experience with CI/CD-integrated automated testing and regression strategy
Knowledge of complex payment/deal workflows and regional variations
Experience validating offline, deep link, push notification, and third-party integration scenarios
