Senior QA Manual Engineer

Role Overview

Senior QA Manual Engineer (Fully Remote) working on large-scale social discovery and communication platforms. You will help ensure product quality, reliability, and a seamless user experience across web apps and multi-channel messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional and integration testing for:
  • Web applications and internal systems
  • Marketing landing pages
  • Multi-channel communication products (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging)
• Validate complex integrations with internal services and external systems to ensure data consistency and end-to-end functionality.
• Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using monitoring/debugging tools; support incident investigations when needed.
• Test APIs and web traffic using tools such as Postman, curl, Charles, or Fiddler.
• Improve QA processes, expand test coverage, and raise overall product quality across platforms.

Requirements

• Strong experience in manual functional and integration testing of web applications and complex digital systems.
• Solid understanding of frontend/backend testing principles, including API behavior and system interactions.
• Hands-on testing experience for marketing landing pages and multi-channel communication workflows (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging).
• Strong knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response structures.
• Experience with API/debugging tools: Postman, curl, Charles, Fiddler.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot using tools such as Kibana or Loki.
• Good SQL skills for querying data and validating database records.
• Experience with test management/collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or TestIT.
• Strong communication skills in English and Russian (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
