About the role
Role Overview
You will be a Senior QA Engineer in the Message Squad, helping shape and execute the testing strategy for new features and refactors within a cloud-native, AI-first contact center platform.
Responsibilities
- Co-design test strategies with the team for new features and refactorings.
- Implement and maintain automated tests in Kotlin across multiple levels.
- Evaluate designs and solutions from a risk and testability perspective.
- Continuously improve CI/pipelines, testing tooling, and test reliability.
- Collaborate with QA, frontend, and backend teams to distribute test coverage responsibilities.
- Keep a user-centric approach to testing and quality.
Requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests in Kotlin.
- Ability to contribute to test strategy and improve reliability of test pipelines/tooling.
- Strong collaboration across QA, frontend, and backend stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience improving test pipelines/tooling and thinking in terms of risk/testability.
