About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will help ensure multiple product verticals meet high standards for quality, performance, and reliability. You’ll work in an Agile environment to define and execute testing strategies, build and extend automation frameworks, and improve QA efficiency across product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute testing strategies across multiple product areas in Agile development
  • Build, extend, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to improve QA efficiency
  • Identify, track, and prioritize bugs/issues by severity, frequency, and customer impact
  • Monitor and improve product pipeline health to prevent delivery bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with engineering, product managers, and designers on releases and acceptance criteria
  • Own and maintain QA documentation (processes, tools, and testing practices)
  • Manage the QA backlog in Jira, ensuring timely ticket resolution and SLA adherence
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Continuously improve QA workflows to reduce friction in delivery pipelines
  • Stay current with AI tools and emerging QA technologies and incorporate them where applicable

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Quality Assurance Engineering / Quality Engineering in Agile teams
  • Strong experience designing, writing, and executing manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C# (experience with Python is a plus)
  • Experience building/extending/maintaining automation frameworks and QA tooling
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and QA best practices in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven ability to mentor and provide technical leadership

Nice to Have

  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog and using QA metrics for improvements
