Senior QA Engineer, Core Squad

Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer in the Core Squad at Diabolocom, you will partner with the team to design testing approaches, build and maintain automated tests, and continuously improve test pipelines and tooling to increase release quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Co-design test strategies with the team for new features and refactorings
• Implement and maintain automated tests using Kotlin at multiple test levels
• Review and challenge designs/solutions from a risk and testability perspective
• Continuously improve CI/test pipelines, tooling, and test reliability
• Collaborate across squads to ensure correct service interactions and enable isolation of entities within the application

Requirements

• Senior-level experience delivering QA with a strong automation focus
• Ability to design and implement automated testing in Kotlin
• Experience improving test reliability and CI/test pipelines
• Strong risk-based approach to evaluating design choices for testability

Nice-to-haves

• Cross-squad/system integration testing experience (interaction between services)
• Experience with automated test strategy across multiple layers of an application
